World of Color Dessert Party

On our recent trip to Disneyland,  Kid #3 and I were able to attend the World of Color Dessert Party once again.  This party was first introduced last year and seems to be a big hit.  I had been to Disneyland many times but had never seen World of Color until last year because I was not excited about the idea of waiting around for hours just to get a good viewing spot, stand throughout the show to see anything and have complete strangers all up in my personal space.  So when I heard about the Dessert Party, I booked it.

The Facts

No long wait?  Check.  Great view for show? Check. They’re feeding me desserts and champagne?! Check and check! The cost is a little steep – $79 (includes tax and gratuity) but gives you a lovely viewing area of World of Color, tables and chairs, a dessert plate and beverages.  A little tip – if you can’t finish that huge plate of food, ask for a to-go box and enjoy your goodies later!

The viewing area is just down the steps from the The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure ride in California Adventure.  We checked in about 15 minutes early and then we were allowed to head down to our table.  Service was outstanding and the Dessert Party was such a nice way to end our trip.  I did take a few pics that look blurry, but keep in mind, the images are on a wall of water – so cool!
