Bali Helicoptors

Whoa…Things Look Different!

That’s right, friends!  Behind the scenes, along with Gariele over at Dreamworthy Design, I have been working hard to create a website that’s calm, easy to use and very different than anything I’ve had in the past.  This site now features my photography, which I love, while also making it easy for the reader to search for topics quickly.  I’ve also made it easy for you to shop my looks and my favorite Amazon items, but you can scroll right on past those if that’s not what you’re looking for.  Those items do contain affiliate links for which I do earn a small commission at no cost to you.

So, How is the Website Different?

Besides the beautiful color palette we’ve chosen and the different layout, you will no longer see those completely annoying Google ads.  Can I get a High-Five?

My Instagram feed is now added to my website if you want to check that out. You can also reach all of my social channels from the website, so give it a try!  Take a look around the new site and let me know what you like and even what you don’t like!  I’d love to hear your thoughts.

In January, look for announcements for upcoming Traveling Empty Nester Group Trips for 2020 and 2021, as well as some exciting news about other services I’ll be offering.  I can’t wait to tell you about what I’m working on!

It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of 2019.  This has been a year full of highs and lows, so I am excited to see what 2020 brings.  Thank you for following along!

Welcome to the New Traveling Empty Nester Website!

Anthem of the Seas

What to Wear on Anthem of the Seas

My husband and I were able to cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas last fall.  We were having trouble getting our schedules to line up, but we made it work!  Somehow, the stars were aligned in our favor to make it happen.  This was our first time on this class of ship and I was really excited to check to out.

Great Barrier Reef Heart Reef

Favorite Beach Vacations

I recently asked my followers about what kind of content they would want to see from me. More often than not, they wanted to read about beach/ocean travel.  And since that’s right up my alley, I wanted to share the result. I’ve broken down my trips from least expensive to most expensive.

Disneyland Signature Photo Experience Review

Disneyland Super Special Photo Shoot

I had an opportunity to have my own Disneyland Super Special Photo Shoot with the Signature Photo Experience at Disneyland on a recent trip to Los Angeles.  My family and I are huge Disney fans, but I had never heard about this service.  If you want to learn more about it, read on!

I like it! I think it will be interesting and very informative. I just got back today from an 8-day cruise to Labadee, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, and St Maarten on board RCL Adventure of the Seas. Had a wonderful time. It wasn’t anything I planned. I was a last minute replacement for a cousin who couldn’t go due to an illness. Looking forward to seeing more on your updated blog!
